In 2021, Evan co-founded the Extemporaneous Music Society with Seth Davis. The EMS is a free improvisation/contemporary music collective with the mission of growing and facilitating an improvised/experimental music scene in Kansas City through performances, collaborations, workshops, and a concert series.
